CPR Classes

Healthcare Provider CPR

The Healthcare Provider course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO).  It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. The initial certification course is 4 hours and the renewal course is 2 hours. Upon successful completion of the course and passing of the exam, participants will  receive their American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card, which is valid for 2 years.

This course is $60/person.

Heartsaver CPR

The Heartsaver CPR course is designed for anyone who wants a comprehensive CPR course leading to certification. A suggested course for police officers, lifeguards, Daycare workers, child care providers, security guards and others who may be first-responders to medical emergencies.  This course includes AED training.

Note: Healthcare providers cannot use this course as a substitute for the Healthcare Provider course. 

The initial certification course if 4 hours and the renewal course is 2 hours.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive their American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR card, which is valid for 2 years.

This course is $60/person.

Infant CPR

The Infant CPR course is ideal for new parents or for individuals caring for babies under 1 year.

The course is 1 hour.

This course does not award a certification.

The course is $25/person.

CPR for Family & Friends 

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to recognize life threatening emergencies and be able to respond. The course is 2 hours. This course does not award a certification.

The course is $25/person.

Pediatric Heartsaver/First Aid

The Pediatric Heartsaver CPR course is designed for anyone who wants a comprehensive CPR course leading to certification as well as for people who want to learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies and be able to respond. A suggested course for daycare workers and others who work with children.  This course includes AED training. The initial certification course is 4 hours and the renewal course is 2 hours.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive their American Heart Association CPR/First Aid card, which is valid for 2 years.

The course is $60/person.
